Watering His Garden - Wordless Wednesday

After soaking our EyeBuddies yesterday, my son wanted to plant some flowers.  When I told him I didn't have any flower seeds, he started watering all the weeds in our yard.

"My garden is dying" he declared.  "I have to water it."

Clearly I need to get the boy some flower seeds.

    1. He is observant, which is both good and bad, because he picks up both the good..and bad.

I hope he cultivates his desire to grow things. I'd love to have anything take him away from video games more.

    1. Were gonna have a wild weed jungle anyway. Our lawn is about 90% dandelion.

  3. That is so adorable! If he came to our house, he'd spend the whole day tending to out 'garden'. We have too many weeds than I care to admit.

    1. Nothing wrong with that. It makes me as happy when the dandelions bloom as it does when the "real" flowers do.

    1. If he's happy I'm happy. Plus, this love of watering will come in handy if I do actually grow a real flower this year.

    1. Well, spring has sprung here, which means we've gone straight to 80 degree days. (We only have 2 real seaons...autumn and summer)

    1. It would make him happy, I'm sure. His nanna said he could help with her vegetable garden this year too.

    1. I'm sure it will. Weeds will thrive even when I start (accidentally) killing off the other green stuff.
